Ant Proof Plate uses an all-natural insect repellent made from fossilized water plants also known as diatoms. The diatoms are mined and ground up to render a powder that looks and feels like talcum powder to us.
Diatoms are harmless to mammals. We can eat it. In fact we do eat it! It’s in lots of grain based foods because lots of grains are stored with diatoms to keep bugs from eating the grain!
To insects, slugs and snails, diatoms are a lethal dust with microscopic razor sharp edges. These particles stick to an insect and get embedded between its exoskeleton joints.
As the insect moves, it gets physically cut up. Insects are not willing to crawl on the diatoms as death will follow, when they encounter diatoms they simply will not cross it. There is no build-up of tolerance like there is with poison because the method of repelling is PHYSICAL, not chemical.

Which Carrier/Courier do you use? The services we use for most of our deliveries are Australia Post and Fastway couriers. With this service they will deliver your item to your nominated delivery address.
How do I know when you have shipped my order? Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse we will email you with a notification of dispatch.
Do you deliver to anywhere in Australia? We deliver to all Australian residential or business addresses. Please note that if you live in an area that is generally considered difficult to access or is poorly serviced by Australia Post and/or couriers then we may not be able to deliver to you. In these cases we will offer you a full refund. For example, there are some restrictions to Norfolk, Christmas or the Cocos Islands.
Do you ship Internationally? Yes we do, we ship worldwide. To see the cost to ship to your country please see the checkout.

Once I’ve made my Purchase, how long before I receive my item(s)? All items are typically dispatched the next business day and should take a maximum of 6 days to get to you. With most capital cities in Australia getting it much faster than that.
Do you do Combine Shipping? Yes, we do. We call this “Combine and Save”. You only ever are charged the full flat rate delivery fee for your order. Can I purchase from outside of Australia? Yes you can, we ship worldwide.
Do you offer Express Post? Currently, we do not have this facility available. All items are typically dispatched the next business day, once your payment has been confirmed. Orders will typically be dispatched within 24 hours of your payment being approved.
